Volleyball Recap: Alexandria Beats Pell City for Their Third Straight Win

Alexandria had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Pell City Panthers as they made off with a 3-0 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 two weeks ago.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Alexandria took every set by at least 15 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-10, 25-10.

Alexandria's win bumped their record up to 36-6. As for Pell City, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-19.

Alexandria wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-2 loss against Cherokee County on the 14th. As for Pell City, after both having extra time off, they and Shades Valley will shake off the rust and duke it out at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
