Erie has gone 9-1 against Frederick recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Tigers will take on the Golden Eagles at 4:00 p.m. Erie is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.8 runs per game this season.

Erie came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against Holy Family, falling 10-4. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss Erie has suffered since April 2, 2024.

Erie got a good showing from Easton Agnew, who tossed four innings while giving up just two earned runs off one hit.

At the plate, Ronin Ward made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole a base while going 3-for-4.

Meanwhile, Frederick unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell 5-1 to Fairview. Having soared to a lofty 22 runs in the game before, the Golden Eagles couldn't push the score so high this time.

Frederick saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Dom LeFevre, who went 2-for-3 with two doubles.

Frederick now has a losing record of 7-8. As for Erie, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-5.

Erie was able to grind out a solid win over Frederick in their previous meeting back in May of 2019, winning 4-1. Do the Tigers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Golden Eagles turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
