Shadow Mountain lost against Moon Valley back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Matadors took a 9-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Rockets. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Jack Zauner put in work no matter where he played. He didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out 11 over 4.1 innings pitched. Furthermore, he didn't allow a single earned run, the first time he has blanked an opponent since back in February. He was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while going 1-for-3.

Moon Valley will be paying especially close attention to the Matadors' matchup: after the Matadors faces off against the Panthers, they'll take on Moon Valley again at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday.
