Basketball Recap: Big Piney Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Big Piney had to start their season on the road on Friday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They had to suffer through a 70-43 loss at the hands of the Little Snake River Rattlers. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it four in a row.

Little Snake River's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Granit Ready led the charge by almost dropping a double-double with 17 points and nine rebounds. Those 17 points gave Ready a new career-high. Tymber Cozzens was another key player, putting up 14 points in addition to six assists and six boards.

Big Piney didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 60-38 victory against Shoshoni on the 13th. As for Little Snake River, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 66-54 win against Mountain View on the 12th.
