Basketball Recap: Wasco Takes a Loss

Wasco was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 15th straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a blow against the Shafter Generals, falling 52-20. The Tigers were not able to make up for their loss to the Generals from their previous meeting back in February.

Wasco's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Shafter, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Wasco will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Foothill at 6:30 p.m. on December 2. As for Shafter, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against West at 12:00 p.m. on Friday.
