Softball Recap: Choctaw County Takes a Loss

Choctaw County and Nettleton squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but Choctaw County had to settle for second. They came up short against the Tigers, falling 11-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Chargers have suffered since April 12th.

This is the second loss in a row for Choctaw County and nudges their season record down to 11-18. As for Nettleton, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 28-3-1.

Choctaw County does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Nettleton, they will square off against Booneville at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Tigers 2.1, the Blue Devils 1.3) so any runs scored will be well earned.
