Football Recap: Rolling Meadows Comes Up Short

Rolling Meadows dropped to 6-3 on Friday, ending the team's three-game streak of wins at home. They were outmatched by the Hersey Huskies and fell 54-14. The game marked the Mustangs' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

As for Hersey, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-2. The team dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 42.9 points.

It was another big night for Brandon Jenkins, who rushed for 207 yards and three scores while picking up 8.3 yards per carry. That's the most rushing yards he has posted since back in October of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Jake Nawrot, who threw for 172 yards and three TDs.

As of now, neither Rolling Meadows nor Hersey have any future games scheduled.
