After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Ludlowe, Rogers was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Hope Blue Wave with a sharp 12-5 win. The Vikings haven't had any issues with the Blue Wave recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Nora Gardullo was incredible, going a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and four RBI. That home run was her first of the season. Charlotte Plowden was another key player, going 1-for-4 with one home run, one stolen base, and two RBI.

Rogers always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .529. They are a perfect 3-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.

Rogers' win bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Hope, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.

Rogers wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 14-0 defeat against East Greenwich on the 25th. As for Hope, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 15-3 loss against Central Falls on the 23rd.
