Volleyball Recap: Mt. Mansfield Triumphs + How To Watch

Mt. Mansfield hadn't done well against Champlain Valley Union recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Cougars walked away with a 3-1 win over the Redhawks. The Cougars have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Redhawks, too.

Mt. Mansfield got the W, but it wasn't easy, at least in the fourth set. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-19, 22-25, 32-30.

Champlain Valley Union's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Rowan Farmer, who had nine digs and six aces, and Maya Lewis, who had nine assists and six digs.

Mt. Mansfield will head out on the road to take on Bellows Free Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. The Bobwhites/Comets will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Cougars surely won't give up without a fight. As for Champlain Valley Union, they will be playing at home against St. Johnsbury Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
