Cornerstone Christian Academy extended their winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Ashlynn Lanning. Everything went the Cougars' way against the Mullins Marion Christian Cavaliers on Friday as they made off with a 3-0 win for which the team can thank Lanning, who had 18 kills and four aces. She is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served two or more in each of the last seven games she's played.

The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-19, 25-7.

Cornerstone Christian Academy got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Chloe Galloway out in front who had six kills and two aces. Another player making a difference was Raegan McLucas, who had five aces.

They weren't the only good servers: Cornerstone Christian Academy was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 18 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least 17 aces in three consecutive matches.

Cornerstone Christian Academy's record now sits at 7-8. As for Mullins Marion Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-8.
