Volleyball Recap: Mitchell Takes a Loss

Mitchell lost against Pine Bluffs back in September of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Tigers took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hornets.

Kate Pieper paced Mitchell's offense, picking up five kills. Pieper got some help from Kapri Stover and her four assists.

Mitchell has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost ten of their last 12 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-13 record this season. As for Pine Bluffs, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 15-2.

Mitchell has already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Southeast on the 27th. As for Pine Bluffs, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Valentine on the 27th.
