Volleyball Recap: North Forsyth Comes Up Short + How To Watch

North Forsyth extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to 18 on Wednesday, dropping them down to 0-2. They came up short against the R.J. Reynolds Demons, falling 3-0. The Vikings were not able to make up for their defeat to the Demons from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

As for R.J. Reynolds, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-6. They not only won on Wednesday, but they posted their biggest win since September 4, 2024 (when they won 3-0).

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead R.J. Reynolds to victory, but perhaps none more so than Na'Leah Hairston, who had eight aces and four assists. With that strong performance, Hairston is now averaging an impressive 3.2 aces per game. The team also got some help courtesy of Maggie O'Sullivan, who had seven aces and one assist.

Coming up, North Forsyth will face off against Carver at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for R.J. Reynolds, they will challenge Oak Grove at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
