Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Huron). They blew past the Columbian Tornadoes 13-4 on Friday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Tigers also won the last time the pair played back in May of 2024.

The win made it two in a row for Huron and bumps their season record up to 3-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 5 runs in those games. As for Columbian, they dropped their record down to 0-4 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Huron will square off against Norwalk at 4:45 p.m. on Monday. As for Columbian, they will take on Liberty-Benton at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
