Basketball Game Preview: Wooster Generals vs. Lexington Minutemen

The Wooster Generals will challenge the Lexington Minutemen at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Wooster has now lost seven straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since January 9.

Wooster lost 65-43 to West Holmes on Thursday.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 55 points the game before, Lexington was a bit more limited in their contest on Monday. They were dealt a 61-24 defeat at the hands of Shelby. The match marked the Minutemen's lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Wooster's loss dropped their record down to 3-16. As for Lexington, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 8-10.

Wooster and Lexington were neck-and-neck in their previous meeting back in December of 2024, but Wooster came up empty-handed after a 47-46 loss. Can Wooster avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
