Softball Recap: Gordonsville Continues Home Dominance on Monday

Gordonsville entered their tilt with Pickett County on Monday with 14 consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with 15. They put the hurt on the Bobcats with a sharp 20-2 victory. The Tigers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 12 matchups by six runs or more this season.

Kali Underwood was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. Those four RBI gave her a new career-high. Camri Johnson was another key player, going 1-for-2 with three RBI, one run, and one double.

Gordonsville was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .636. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.

The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.8 runs over those games.
