Volleyball Recap: Newport Takes a Loss + How To Watch

After flying high against St. George's last Tuesday, Newport came back down to earth. The Grizzlies came up short against the Northwest Christian School Crusaders on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The Grizzlies have struggled against the Crusaders recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-20, 25-16.

Newport's loss dropped their record down to 8-6. As for Northwest Christian School, they pushed their record up to 12-1 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Newport is set to take on their familiar foe Davenport at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Northwest Christian School will challenge rival St. George's at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
