Basketball Game Preview: Chagrin Falls Tigers vs. Hawken Hawks

Chagrin Falls and Hawken are an even 5-5 against one another since January of 2020, but not for long. The Chagrin Falls Tigers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Hawken Hawks at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Last Wednesday, Chagrin Falls didn't have too much breathing room in their match against West Geauga, but they still walked away with a 54-48 victory.

Chagrin Falls got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Ryan Curtiss out in front who went 8 of 14 on his way to 18 points and eight rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Jacob Kay, who posted 13 points.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Hawken). They put the hurt on Harvey with a sharp 70-50 victory on Wednesday. With the Hawks ahead 40-19 at the half, the game was all but over already.

The win made it two in a row for Hawken and bumps their season record up to 3-1. As for Chagrin Falls, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
