Meanwhile, a win for Heritage just wasn't in the cards on Friday as the team wasn't able to take the lead at any point. They came up short against Knoxville Central, falling 35-10. The Mountaineers have struggled against the Bobcats recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Clinton's victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-6. As for Heritage, they now have a losing record at 4-5.
