It was a proper cat-fight when Medina duked it out with Nueces Canyon on Friday. The Bobcats breezed past the Panthers to the tune of 56-8. The victory continues a trend for the Bobcats in their matchups with the Panthers: they've now won five in a row.

When it comes to explaining why Nueces Canyon lost, don't look at Bito Carabajal. Despite the final result, he rushed for 37 yards and one TD, and also picked up 67 receiving yards. Carabajal got the majority of those receiving yards when he pulled down a pass and took off for a gain of 52 yards.

Medina's win bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Nueces Canyon, their loss dropped their record down to 2-5.

Coincidentally, Medina and Nueces Canyon will both be playing Menard the next time they take the field. The Bobcats will host the Yellowjackets at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Panthers will head out to face them at 5:30 p.m. on the 24th.
