Soccer Recap: Danville Extends Winning Streak to Three

Danville took a three-goal loss the last time they faced off against Charleston, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Vikings had just enough and edged out the Trojans 1-0. Danville wouldn't have won without Lindsey Porter, who scored the game-winner.

The win was the third in a row for Danville, bringing their record up to 7-4. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those three matches. As for Charleston, they dropped their record down to 2-8 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road.
