Football Game Recap: Trego vs. Triplains/Brewster

When you finish with 330 more yards than your opponent, a favorable outcome is sure to follow. Trego took the match and then some with a 64-14 victory on Friday over Triplains/Brewster. The success represented a nice turnaround for Trego, who in their last game suffered a tough 18-48 loss.

The game started off well for Trego, whose offense put up 46 first-half points. Triplains/Brewster put up 14, so the score was 46-14 at the half. The Trego defense stood its ground in the third quarter, giving up 0 and all but finishing the matchup.

Senior Dallas Schneider, who rushed for 170 yards and 3 touchdowns, was a major factor in Trego's success. Sophomore Kobi Shubert was in the mix, too, providing Trego with 4 touchdowns. The contest pushed Triplains/Brewster down to 1-2 and pulled Trego up to the reverse at 2-1.

Trego are packing up and heading on the road for the first time this season. They face off against Rawlins County next week . Triplains/Brewster will look to defend their home turf against Quinter at 7:00 PM.
