Baseball Recap: South Panola Falls Short of Neshoba Central in the Playoffs

South Panola and Neshoba Central squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but South Panola had to settle for second. They came up short against the Rockets, falling 9-1. The Tigers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Rockets earlier this season, when they won 6-1.

South Panola saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jamarion Ingram, who went 1-for-3 with one run.

South Panola has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 17-11 record this season. As for Neshoba Central, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 13 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-12 record this season.

As of now, neither South Panola nor Neshoba Central have any future games scheduled.
