Volleyball Recap: Central of Coosa County Takes a Loss

Central of Coosa County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Fayetteville Wolves, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wolves this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 on Saturday.

The match finished with set scores of 25-4, 25-11, 25-8.

Central of Coosa County's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Fayetteville, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-2 record this season.

After both having extra time off, Central of Coosa County and Shelby County will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Fayetteville, they will challenge Alabama School for the Deaf at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
