Basketball Recap: Peck Takes a Loss

Peck was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a blow against the Kingston Cardinals, falling 51-24. While losing is never fun, the Pirates can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 470th, while the Cardinals are ranked 99th).

Peck's loss dropped their record down to 7-10. As for Kingston, the win was the 13th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 14-1.

Looking ahead, Peck will be playing at home against North Huron at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. North Huron's defense has only allowed 24.9 points per game this season, so Peck's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Kingston, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Mayville at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
