Basketball Recap: Springfield Gets the Win

Springfield posted their closest victory since December 23, 2024 on Wednesday. They had just enough and edged the Napoleon Wildcats out 43-40. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Blue Devils have posted against the Wildcats since February 9, 2021.

Springfield's victory bumped their record up to 7-10. As for Napoleon, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 6-8.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Springfield will host Northview at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Napoleon, they will challenge Perrysburg at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Perrysburg will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Napoleon surely won't give up without a fight.
