Football Recap: Covington Academy Comes Up Short

Covington Academy played against New Creation Christian Academy on Friday and lost via forfeit.

Covington Academy is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3. As for New Creation Christian Academy, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Covington Academy will head out to challenge Trinity Christian School of Griffin at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for New Creation Christian Academy, they will venture away from home to square off against Harvester Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The game will give the Crusaders their first taste of in-conference action this season.
