Basketball Recap: Great Bridge Takes a Loss

After flying high against Kecoughtan last Thursday, Great Bridge came back down to earth. The Great Bridge Wildcats fell just short of the Norcom Greyhounds by a score of 37-34 on Friday. The loss continues a trend for the Wildcats in their matchups with the Greyhounds: they've now lost three in a row.

Great Bridge's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 5-4. As for Norcom, they pushed their record up to 5-3 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.

Great Bridge won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Clinton Grace Christian at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Norcom, they also won't have to wait long for more action: they'll take on Kecoughtan at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday.
