Rogers was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 17th straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 2-0 to the Central Wildcats. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-19.

Rogers' defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Central, they pushed their record up to 2-1 with the win, which was their 18th straight at home dating back to last season.

Coincidentally, Rogers and Central will both be playing Clay-Chalkville the next time they take the court. The Wildcats will host the Cougars at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Pirates will play them later in the day, at 12:00 p.m.
