Volleyball Recap: Arvada West Starts Season with Win at Home + How To Watch

Arvada West took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Thursday. They blew past the Evergreen Cougars 3-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Wildcats also won the last time the pair played back in August of 2024.

Arvada West was especially dominant in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-13, 25-20.

Arvada West was led to victory by Mya Lee and Brooke Luna. Lee had seven aces and six digs, while Luna had six digs and two aces. That's the most aces Luna has posted since back in October of 2024.

Arvada West has already played their next matchup, a 3-1 victory against Green Mountain on the 26th. As for Evergreen, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Summit at 6:30 p.m. on September 4.
