Softball Recap: Boyd-Buchanan Wins Going Away Against Franklin County

Boyd-Buchanan had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the ten-run drubbing they dealt Franklin County on Saturday. The Buccaneers were the clear victors by a 10-0 margin over the Rebels. The matchup marked the Buccaneers' most dominant victory of the season so far.

Peyton Schwieter looked comfortable as she didn't allow a single earned run over four innings pitched. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than one walk in four consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Boyd-Buchanan got a big performance out of Jayde Sims, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-2. Keyanna Jordan also deserves some recognition as she hit her first triple of the season.
