Baseball Recap: Davis Comes Up Short

Davis was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 10-2 to the Eastmont Wildcats. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, with their most recent defeat being a 6-0 loss on Friday.

Davis' defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Eastmont, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-5.

Looking ahead, Davis will square off against Sunnyside at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Pirates are facing the Grizzlies at the right time seeing as the Grizzlies are stuck on a ten-game losing streak. As for Eastmont, they will welcome West Valley at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
