Football Recap: Northfield Gets the Win + How To Watch

Northfield won the last time they faced Pueblo East and things went their way on Friday too. The Nighthawks came out on top against the Eagles by a score of 27-14. The Nighthawks' offense checked out after the first half but had enough points banked to take the game anyway.

When it comes to explaining why Pueblo East lost, don't look at Dolphka Lewis. Despite the final result, he rushed for 141 yards and two scores while picking up 8.8 yards per carry, and also threw for 193 yards on 21 of 38 attempts. Lewis got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run that went for an incredible 75 yards. 94 of Lewis' passing yards were hauled in by Brendon Andrada.

The win got Northfield back to even at 2-2. As for Pueblo East, they dropped their record down to 1-3 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home.

Northfield didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 10-3 victory against Denver South on the 26th. As for Pueblo East, they have also already played their next matchup, a 35-14 win against Holy Family on the 25th.
