Baseball Recap: Salem Greyhounds vs. Mountain View Yellowjackets
Salem let Mountain View stack six runs on them in the third inning on Thursday but luckily Salem prevailed anyway. The Greyhounds had just enough and edged out the Yellowjackets 12-11. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 15-5 victory back in March.
Salem got a great performance from Peyton Holder as he tossed 4.2 innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off six hits. Holder has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances.
