Trona hasn't had much luck against Immanuel Christian recently, but that could start to change on Saturday. The Trona Tornadoes will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on the Immanuel Christian Crusaders at 8:00 a.m. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Trona is coming home in high spirits after they had to open their season on the road against Boron. Trona was the clear victors by a 7-1 margin over Boron on Friday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Tornadoes have posted since March 9, 2024.

Meanwhile, Immanuel Christian posted their closest victory since March 15, 2024 on Friday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Desert, sneaking past 5-3. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Crusaders.

Immanuel Christian saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Erin French, who went 1-for-2 with one triple and one run. Another was Chloe Loughlin, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-1.
