Volleyball Recap: Shoreland Lutheran Comes Up Short

Shoreland Lutheran was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Greendale Panthers. If the Pacers were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Panthers when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Morgan Curcio paced Shoreland Lutheran's offense, picking up six kills. Curcio got some help from Hailey Grove and her eight assists. Grove was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Shoreland Lutheran's loss dropped their record down to 4-15. As for Greendale, with the victory, they broke their nine-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-11.

Looking ahead, Shoreland Lutheran will head out on the road to take on Racine Lutheran at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Greendale, they will welcome Waukesha North at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
