For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Chesterfield and McBee meet (three straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Friday. The Golden Rams came up short against the Panthers, falling 35-14. The Golden Rams' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Although Chesterfield took the loss, they still got scores from Jullian McClain and Bryce Adams.

Chesterfield's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for McBee, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-4.

Coming up, Chesterfield will take on North Central at 7:30 p.m. on October 3. After each having a week off, McBee and Lamar will shake off the cobwebs and hit the field against one another at 7:30 p.m. on October 3. The two teams might be coming in a bit winded given these two teams combined for 861 yards in their previous games.
