Soccer Recap: Scranton Prep Takes a Loss

Scranton Prep fought the good fight in their overtime match against Wyoming Area on Saturday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Warriors by a score of 2-1. Scranton Prep just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

Scranton Prep's loss dropped their record down to 6-13. As for Wyoming Area, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 17-1.

Scranton Prep does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Wyoming Area, they will be playing at home against Western Wayne at 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday. Wyoming Area will need to watch out since Western Wayne have now posted at least four goals in their last five contests.
