Northview came tearing into Monday's contest with eight straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 27.8 points) and they left with even more momentum. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Clay Eagles 58-20. Given the Wildcats' advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 62nd, while the Eagles are ranked 447th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Northview's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-1. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 37.2 points. As for Clay, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last seven matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-8 record this season.

Northview will head out to square off against Anthony Wayne at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday. Anthony Wayne knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 11 games -- so hopefully Northview likes a good challenge. As for Clay, they will welcome Napoleon at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Clay is facing Napoleon at the right time seeing as Napoleon is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
