Baseball Game Preview: South Davidson Wildcats vs. Gray Stone Day Knights

The South Davidson Wildcats will face off against the Gray Stone Day Knights at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. South Davidson has given up an average of 14 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week.

Things were looking good for South Davidson after they put the first points on the board on Tuesday, but unfortunately for them things went downhill from there. They came up short against Gray Stone Day, falling 15-5. The Wildcats haven't had much luck with the Knights recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

For Gray Stone Day's part, the team relied heavily on Logan Moses, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 1-for-2. The dominant performance gave Moses a new career-high in runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Max Poplin, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-3.

South Davidson's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Gray Stone Day, the victory also got them back to even at 2-2.
