Recap: Escondido Charter White Tigers vs. Army-Navy Warriors        
        
		
            
 The Escondido Charter White Tigers fell victim to the Army-Navy Warriors''s stalwart defense on Friday and couldn't make it onto the board. They ended up on the wrong side of a  rough 21-0 walloping at the hands of the Warriors. Escondido Charter just can't catch a break and has now endured four defeats in a row.
  Joe Scates threw for 76 yards  on 13 of 23 attempts.   Ben VanSlyke was his top target, picking up 30 receiving yards and  no touchdowns.  On the ground,  Nick Patterson rushed for 100 yards.
 Leading Army-Navy to victory were  Tonton Drobny and  Nehemiah L brunson jr.  Drobny rushed for 92 yards and  a touchdown on only five carries, while  L brunson jr rushed for 137 yards and two touchdowns on only 13 carries.
 The team's defense also helped out by  holding Escondido Charter to a paltry 216 yards. A big part of that defensive dominance came down to Army-Navy's ability to keep the quarterback under pressure: the team laid him out 4.5 times before it was all said and done. Leading the way was  Ratumana Bulabalavu and his 2.5 sacks.
 Escondido Charter's defeat was  their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their overall record down to 3-6. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's  offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 8.8 points per game. As for Army-Navy,  this is  the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 6-3.
 Escondido Charter does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Army-Navy is also done with their season.
