Baseball Recap: Forest Hills Comes Up Short

Forest Hills lost to Newtown on Thursday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Rangers came up short against the Pioneers, falling 15-2. The Rangers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Forest Hills' defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Newtown, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Forest Hills and Newtown will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next matchups. The next time the Rangers see the field they'll take on Bayside at 4:30 p.m. on the 14th. As for Newtown, their break will end when they face Francis Lewis at 4:30 p.m. on the 14th.
