Softball Recap: Parke Heritage Falls Short of Greencastle in the Playoffs

Parke Heritage and Greencastle squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Parke Heritage had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Tiger Cubs by a score of 4-3. The Wolves haven't had much luck with the Tiger Cubs recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Taya Sturmer was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and one double. Birkley Schelsky was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.

Parke Heritage's defeat dropped their record down to 8-17. As for Greencastle, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-13.

As of now, neither Parke Heritage nor the Tiger Cubs have any future games scheduled.
