Volleyball Recap: Paintsville Comes Up Short on the Road Against Lafayette

Paintsville kicked off their season on the road on Friday and hit a couple of potholes. They fell 2-0 to the Lafayette Generals. The Tigers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Generals apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Paintsville will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Wolfe County at 6:00 p.m. on the 16th. As for Lafayette, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Taylor County on the 1st.
