Volleyball Recap: Virgin Valley Comes Up Short

Virgin Valley saw some tournament action on Saturday. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Payson Lions. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Payson can attribute much of their success to Parker Houston, who had 13 digs and one assist. That's the most digs Houston has posted over his last seven matchups.

Virgin Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 24-8. As for Payson, their win bumped their record up to 17-9.

Virgin Valley's road trip will continue as they head out to face Cedar Valley at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Payson, they will take on Hunter at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
