Softball Recap: West Linn Lions vs. Lakeridge Pacers        
        
		
            
 West Linn was handed a two-run  loss in their last  game, but they sure didn't let that happen against Lakeridge  on Friday. The West Linn Lions were the clear victor by  a  9-3 margin over the Lakeridge Pacers. That's more bragging rights for West Linn, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.
  Avery Wolf spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three  runs (all of which were unearned)  on six hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in six consecutive pitching appearances.
 At the plate,  Meg Allen was  incredible,  getting on base  in three of her four plate appearances with a  home run and three  RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of  Charlotte Brooke, who  went 1-for-3 with a  home run and two  runs.
 On Lakeridge's side, they saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  MARIN LAFRANCE, who  went 3-for-3 with  an  RBI.
 West Linn's victory bumped their record up to 21-3. As for Lakeridge, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-9.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. West Linn will take on Tigard at 6:45  p.m.  on Monday. West Linn is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.2  runs per game  this season. As for Lakeridge, they will play host again  on Monday to welcome Tualatin, where first pitch is scheduled  at 6:30  p.m. Lakeridge is facing Tualatin at the right time seeing as Tualatin is stuck on  a  five-game losing streak.
