Volleyball Game Preview: Denver South Ravens vs. Northfield Nighthawks

Denver South is on a four-game streak of home wins, while Northfield is on a five-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Ravens will host the Nighthawks at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Denver South picked up another tournament win on Thursday. They put the hurt on Denver East with a sharp 3-0 victory.

While Denver South won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-22, 25-21.

Meanwhile, Northfield got the win against Vista PEAK Prep on Friday by a conclusive 3-0.

Northfield walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the first set). The final score came out to 25-15, 25-16, 25-19.

Denver South's victory bumped their record up to 13-5. As for Northfield, their win bumped their record up to 17-5.

Denver South came up short against Northfield in their previous meeting back in September, falling 3-1. Can the Ravens avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
