Baseball Recap: Freehold Boro Comes Up Short

After flying high against Pinelands Regional on Saturday, Freehold Boro came back down to earth. The Colonials came up short against the Raritan Rockets on Tuesday, falling 11-2. The Colonials haven't had much luck with the Rockets recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Freehold Boro now has a losing record of 5-6. As for Raritan, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-2.

While Freehold Boro had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
