Baseball Game Preview: Parowan Rams vs. Kanab Cowboys

The Parowan Rams will square off against the Kanab Cowboys at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Parowan is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak.

On Friday, Parowan didn't have quite enough to beat Beaver and fell 4-3.

Kash Sissener spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered four runs (all of which were unearned) on two hits.

At the plate, Ayden Osborne was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-1.

Meanwhile, Kanab didn't have quite enough to beat Enterprise on Friday and fell 2-1.

Kanab also got a good showing from Kyan Lyman, who didn't allow a single earned run over four innings pitched. Lyman has been consistent : he hasn't given up more than two walks any time he's pitched this season.

On the hitting side, Kanab saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kash Kabonic, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Kanab's defeat dropped their record down to 8-6. As for Parowan, their loss dropped their record down to 4-6.

Parowan's speedy runners might be the difference in Tuesday's contest. Parowan has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3.3 stolen bases per game. It's a different story for Kanab, though, as they've been averaging only 1.4 stolen bases. Will they be able to secure the bases, or will Parowan continue to outrun the ball?
