Soccer Game Preview: Layton Christian Academy vs. Murray

The Layton Christian Academy Eagles are taking a road trip to face off against the Murray Spartans at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Layton Christian Academy comes in on three and Murray on five.

Layton Christian Academy's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They put the hurt on Jordan with a sharp 8-0 win. Layton Christian Academy might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five matchups by four goals or more this season.

Their offense was hitting Jordan from everywhere, as six different players booted in a goal. Bruno Bello led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.

Meanwhile, Murray's game on Tuesday was all tied up 1-1 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They came out on top against Tooele by a score of 3-1. That's two games straight that Murray have won by exactly two goals.

Layton Christian Academy's victory bumped their record up to 13-2. As for Murray, they pushed their record up to 14-1 with the win, which was their seventh straight on the road.
