Volleyball Recap: Riverside Takes a Loss

After flying high against Fabens on Friday, Riverside came back down to earth. The Rangers lost 3-0 to the Mountain View Lobos on Tuesday. The Rangers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Lobos apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Riverside was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Mountain View work for it, especially in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 29-27, 25-18, 25-23.

Riverside has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-12 record this season. As for Mountain View, the win snapped their losing streak at four matches and leaves them with a 3-11-1 record.

Riverside has already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against San Elizario on the 3rd. As for Mountain View, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Ysleta on the 3rd.
